@Trackmania FR (english below) : Salut à tous. C'est malheureusement à nouveau avec tristesse que la team Virtreal doit vous annoncer la perte d'un de ses membres. En effet, nous avons été informé cette semaine après plusieurs mois sans nouvelles que Giankakkinen avait succombé à une crise cardiaque en Août de l'année dernière. Nous organiserons certainement, comme nous l'avons fait pour notre regretté ami Tofinoo, un event "Tribute" dans les prochaines semaines. Cela demandera un peu de préparation mais nous vous tiendrons au courant dès que possible des détails.

Hi the community @Trackmania . As we announced some time ago, we are organizing an event in tribute to our friend Giankakkinen who sadly left us in 2022. This event will therefore take place on Saturday March 5 from 8:00 p.m. and will take the following form: The event will be held on the "virtreal_universe" [TMUF] server with mostly "envimix" maps - from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the server will be placed in Time-Attack mode on a special map "reworked" for the occasion, to allow everyone to walk around and take advantage of this moment to remember or discover our Giankakkinen. - from 8:30 p.m. to +-10:30 p.m., the server will go into round mode on about fifteen maps, particularly played by Gian on our Mixed server. The server and the maps will be prepared in such a way as to allow us to friendly "challenge" our friend one last time. - from 10:30 p.m. and for more or less a month, the server will remain open in round mode on these 15 maps as well as a dozen additional ones so as to allow everyone, including those who could not be present on March 5 , to pay homage to him. During all this time, it will be possible to leave a short message on the server directly with the following commands: /sgb [your message] or /dedicace [your message] * messages are moderated before posting to avoid possible trolls Until February 28, you also have the possibility to leave a note on the following link: https://forms.gle/HRKv55t9GjZBPWPC8 These messages will be integrated in various forms (panels, guestbook,...) during the event.
